Data Collection
The client and researcher create a SIMALTO matrix of different service or product options. Each row of the matrix is the ‘attribute’ and the elements of that row are the different options (discretionary changes or levels of service) for that attribute.
Optionally the actual or relative costs or prices of the options are incorporated into the matrix. This is particularly useful when different options cost different amounts to deliver. In our experience, cost or price usually acts more as a constraint rather than as a variable. |
